Omicron Coronavirus in Bangladesh

After delta variant of coronavirus, the new concern is omicron variant of coronavirus. Omicron variant spreader in 90 different countries of the world including Bangladesh. Although, Omicron variant is fast spreading variant ever, but fortunately this is not very lethal like delta variant. In Bangladesh, the scenario of corona virus got worst on August 2021. Government, put their effort on vaccination and now the situation is under control. According to the government report, till now 27 % of people got vaccinated against coronavirus. 

World is now vulnerable towards omicron virus. On December 11, Zimbabwe backed two women cricketers got positive for omicron variant. They got isolated and took medical care according to the president of Bangladesh cricket board. Recently, the omicron patients got negative and return to their home. 

The health minister, Zahid Malek said, Booster dose could be helpful to prevent the omicron variant. By considering the world omicron situation, Bangladesh has now started the booster dose on the people.
